DISCOVER
Before every Personal Branding Session, we'll have a discovery call, where I’ll learn more about your goals for your photos, and share the plan for how we will pull that off. It’s also a chance for me to get to know you better and answer any questions you have.
PREPARE
Next, you’ll receive my Success Guide. It’s a handbook that covers every aspect of how to prepare for your shoot - from clothing and makeup, to overcoming negative self talk, and everything in between.
CAPTURE
Day of the shoot, you’ll be assisted in preparing your first wardrobe option and final touch-ups. I’ll guide you through a flow of natural and flattering poses to capture a wide variety of images throughout the lifestyle studio. We can usually capture 2-3 wardrobe options in this time.
ORDER
After your shoot, we’ll schedule a zoom call to review your best images and you can choose the ones you’d like to purchase. Then I’ll send them off to my retoucher and deliver magazine-quality images that you can use for your branding, marketing, bios, social media, and more.

Typical personal branding sessions can take up to 3 hours and start at around $750. Headshot mini sessions offer no variety.
The First Impression Session is the best of both worlds. It's quick and easy, cost-effective, and results in a wide variety of images to use everywhere you exist online.
Your Session Fee includes:
- Discovery Call
- Success Guide
- 40-minute Session (capture up to 3 looks)
- Shot in a Lifestyle Studio, for a variety of real life settings in addition to the traditional white and black backdrop
- 1 magazine-quality high-res image (expert retouched)

Hi. I'm Amanda.
You might recognize me as that person at a party sitting in the corner in a deep conversation with a total stranger. “Wow, I’ve never told anyone that before,” is a phrase I’ve heard more times than I can count.
I'm not a therapist. I'm not a life coach. I just have deep desire to understand the human condition, and so, I tend to ask a lot of questions. My empathy and curiosity (What makes us different? How are we the same? How did you get here?) have opened me to hearing thousands of peoples’ stories. And I want to know yours.
By sharing our stories, we uncover what’s inherently good about us, what blocks us, motivates us, and are reminded that our story is not over yet! By learning your “why”, I can help you share your most authentic self with the world.

I grew up right here in Cincinnati, but spent the last 20 years living in NYC, Stockholm, LA and Atlanta. After attending theater conservatory in NYC, I worked in front of the camera as an actor and model, and although that was my passion, I quickly found I made more money as a makeup artist for commercials, Broadway plays, and runway for couture brands.
This opportunity allowed me to work with and assist some of the most talented photographers in world, watching and learning how to capture and deliver gorgeous images for world class talent and brands. When I started my photography business ten years ago, I built my portfolio shooting headshots for actors and models before expanding to events, weddings and commercial photography.

Wanna know the secret I learned...
...from the unique experience of working both in front of and behind the camera?
There’s no such thing as “photogenic”.
I mean it! With good makeup and lighting, the right colors and styles, a skilled photographer with a great lens, and some subtle retouching, anyone could look like they belong in a magazine. Wrinkles and curves only make you more relatable. What makes people really connect with your photo has EVERYTHING to do with your connection to me through the lens, and NOTHING with that last 10 pounds you think you need to lose.
(Although I can easily shed 10 pounds with the right camera angles and good posing!)

Where will the sessions be?
We will be at a beautiful natural light studio in Lockland, OH, conveniently located just 10 minutes north of Cincinnati off I-75.
What if I need photos taken at my place of work?
Send me a message with more details of what you're looking for, and we can arrange a private session. (Session Fee is the same.)
What if I want more than one photo?
If you love your photos and want more, additional photos can be ordered during your post-session image reveal call.
Additional photos are priced:
- 1 photo $100
- 4 photos $350 (save $50)
- 10 photos $750 (save $250)
- 20 photos $1250 (save $750)
How long is the Session?
The beginning of your appointment to the end of your appointment will take 40 minutes. You may alternate up to 3 clothing changes which will be shot in a variety of poses to maximize coverage.
When will I get my photos?
You'll have your retouched high resolution images in 3-5 business days after you make your selections.
Retouching scares me. Will I still look like me?
My retoucher is the master of subtle. You can expect your eyes to pop, your skin blemishes to magically be healed, any rough skin, shine or pores to be minimized, stray hairs to be cleared, and under eye shadows are brightened so you look more awake and vibrant. You will still look like you. Just you on your best day in perfect lighting. And who doesn’t want that?
Does my session include hair and makeup?
To make these intro sessions quick and cost-effective, I provide a limited touch-up kit including things like hair spray, mascara, concealer, bronzer and chapstick to make sure you look close to perfection, but please come camera-ready (hair styled, facial hair groomed, makeup ready). It is not necessary, but some people may choose to schedule hair and makeup appointments before their session.
I will also have a steamer available, but please arrive with clean, pressed clothing on hangers. You are encouraged you to bring several options and I can help you make your final decisions.
What should I wear?
We will discuss this at your Discovery Call, and I'll also cover this in your Success Guide! In general, I would recommend an upscale and casual version of what you'd wear in your profession. We can discuss for your specific needs.
